In September we were inundated with applications from Year 5 pupils, to take on the role of playground leader. 16 children in total completed an application form and wrote a letter, explaining why they would be best suited to the role. They then took part in a day of training with John from Playground Buddies. During the day they covered a lot of areas, from the serious job of mentoring to the skills of organising fun games with younger children. They even tried out their newly acquired skills with 2C, who all had a fantastic time. 

Our playground leader team have all earned their certificates and bright yellow caps, have drawn up their rota and are doing weekly duties in the playground. They are working hard to make play times even better and we are very proud of them.
