Spotlight on EDI - Nurturing Mental Health Through Literature

Posted on: 12th Mar 2024

Step into the school library and discover a world where mental health is nurtured through literature. Our Mental Health Children's Book Display invites young readers to explore themes of equity, diversity, and inclusion.

For our littlest readers, "Speak Up" invites them on a heart warming journey through the power of storytelling and the magic of libraries. It shows the incredible power we all have when we find our voice and speak up about the things that matter.

For the older children,"Have You Filled a Bucket Today," a touching story that celebrates the ripple effect of kindness. As they delve into its pages, they discover the joy that comes from expressing daily acts of kindness, appreciation, and love, nurturing not only their own mental well-being but also fostering a positive and inclusive community.

Our Mental Health Children's Book Display inspires young readers to embrace empathy, compassion, and the incredible power they possess to make a difference in their world simply by being themselves.
