Netball Squad

Posted on: 16th Jan 2020

Netball Squad practice takes place before School every Thursday, this session is to prepare us for any up and coming fixtures or tournaments.  This term we have been focusing on back line passes, timing and getting into space. This has really helped us improve as a team.  I think squad practice is useful because it gives us an opportunity to learn new skills, look at strategies, build as a team and develop our game.

The sessions have taught us about sportsmanship and how to work for one another. Many of us started netball not knowing the rules or how to play, now we are competing against different schools in the Redbridge Schools Netball League. This league is played on a Tuesday evening at Redbridge Sports Centre.

Netball is a sport that many of us enjoy and we couldn’t do it without the support of our excellent teachers. Thank you Mrs Fox, Mrs Prince and Miss Chere.
